Positive: We really enjoyed our stay at Village Club Les Mas de l’Esterel. The views from the balcony were absolutely stunning, and the rooms were spacious. The staff were all very friendly and polite, always ready to help. The pool area looked great—well-maintained and inviting—although we only used it once, as we preferred spending time by the sea. Visiting at the end of May was perfect: the atmosphere was peaceful, there were plenty of sunbeds available, and the beach never felt crowded
Negative: One major downside is the final cleaning which wasn’t included in the initial price. We were given the option to either clean the entire accommodation before departure or pay a €90 cleaning fee. After already securing a €300 deposit, this added some pressure, as you don’t want to risk failing the inspection and losing part of your deposit. Overall this isn’t very pleasant when you’re in holiday and simply want to relax and enjoy:)

Positive: the location was fantastic. it kept us fit by walking up and down to the town, which was fine by us. the pool was lovely. the buffet style lunch was very good value. the little shop was great. right near the beach. loved the town. right on the train line.
Negative: the pillows!!!. flat and very uncomfortable. the mattresses are a bit hard too. but this is personal preference I guess. if you are not fit the trek to the town is very uphill. we were fine but for some it would be hard work. very little hot water in the apartment.

Positive: Nice (basic style) appartements in a very nice location. Close to beach and the mountains
Negative: Some services (such as kids club) were closed as it was end of Mai and therewith outside the French holiday season. This was not a big deal but a little bit dissapointing (therefore the price is good outside the holiday season). Swimming pool was a bit cold (but certainly some people might like it colder)
